UK based Sales Person – Molecular Diagnostics Manchester based - £comp plus benefits

We are looking to recruit a UK based Salesperson to generate sales to customers in UK, Eire and Scandinavia. The successful applicant’s key duty will be to build effective business relationships with existing and new customers and drive sales figures. They will also need to prepare and present product related marketing presentations to both potential customers and for training and promotional purposes. Applicants must have a minimum of a BSc or Msc in Biological or Life sciences plus some Post-Graduate experience. Knowledge of target customers for molecular diagnostics products, together with proven sales experience in a pharmaceutical or diagnostics company in a sales capacity and experience of selling into one or more European counties is essential.

Senior Research Scientist x 3
Manchester based - £comp plus benefits

We are looking to recruit three Senior Research Scientists to take lead roles in development of its real-time molecular diagnostic products for infectious diseases and DNA extraction products. The successful applicants will have a minimum of a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences with experience in developing and operating real-time PCR molecular diagnostic assays or DNA extraction methodology. Industrial experience in a diagnostics or DNA services company in a project leadership role would be an advantage. As key members of the R&D team you will be expected to take responsibility for key company development projects and to work within and contribute to the Company Quality system.

As part of the R&D team you will be expected to work within and contribute to the Company Quality system. Flexibility is necessary, as is a willingness to work on projects at all stages of the pipeline, from research to batch-release testing. Accuracy and the ability to maintain records in a regulated environment are essential attributes.

Myconostica is establishing its US headquarters in Charleston, SC and is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Operations Manager. 

 

 

 

Job Responsibilities:
Key Facility and Manufacturing Responsibilities:

  • Liaison with contractors, utility providers and local authorities during the up-fit of the facility
  • Arranging for ongoing maintenance, repairs, cleaning and waste removal
  • Developing and administering the server and computer network
  • With guidance from the UK, establishing the quality, safety and security procedures to meet corporate, state and federal requirements

Key Manufacturing and Order Fulfilment Responsibilities:

  • Receipt of products and/or components from the UK
  • Identification of local vendors for the supply of additional materials e.g. packaging materials
  • Management of warehousing and stock control
  • Product assembly
  • QC testing
  • Dispatch
  • Liaison with shipping contractors

Experience and Skills Required/Desired:

  • 5+ years operations management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
